Born on July 6, 1980 in Novi Pazar (Republic of Serbia). After graduating from high school in Novi Pazar in 1999, he enrolled at the Faculty of Commerce and Banking at the Braca Karić University in Belgrade, where he graduated from the Department of Banking in 2003. In 2007, he earned a Master degree in Economics at the same faculty, Diplomacy (International Economics). At the European Center for Peace and Development (ECPD) established by the United Nations University for Peace, he earned a PhD in Economics, defending his doctoral dissertation entitled "The Impact of Inflation Targeting Strategy on Serbia's Economic Growth and Development" (Macroeconomics and Monetary Policy). He worked as an assistant and later as an assistant professor at several local and foreign universities. He is a member of the International Commission for the Evaluation of Master's and Doctoral Theses at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). His areas of interest are finance, international business finance, banking, bank management and banking accounting. Dr. Muric has published over 15 papers in Serbia and abroad, including a monograph entitled "Targeting Inflation - A Theoretical Concept and the Possibility of Surviving in Serbia's Economic Conditions." Dr. Muric is the founder of the Scientific Society for the Promotion and Advancement of Social Sciences and the Institute for Financial Forensics. He is the founder of the Scientific Journal for Theory and Practice of Socio-Economic Development "Socioeconomica". He is a member of the editorial board in several foreign scientific journals. Dr. Muric has been hired as a banking expert at several reputable international banking groups. He was hired by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia as a court expert in the economic and financial field. He is a member of the Royal Society of Economists of Great Britain, American Association of Economists, European Economic Association, European Institute of Judicial Experts and European Institute of Law. He speaks English. He is married and has two children.
